North Kildare Club is a multi-purpose sports and social club with over 800 members, established in 1928. It is open to all and has a wide variety of activities for all ages and sexes. These activities include Hockey, Cricket, Rugby, Tennis and Squash aswel as Art Classes, Bridge, Pilates and Speech & Drama Classes. The Club has recently built a new floodlit artificial pitch which will now be available for full pitch soccer or three x 6 a Side Soccer pitches.
The Club hosts many events including The Kilcock Triathlon, The Goal Mile and Kit Kat Tennis. The Irish team for The Special Olympics World Games and the Kilcock Special Olympics Club have all used our facilities and many local schools continue to do so.
The facilities of The Club include a large clubhouse, changing rooms with hot showers, Function Rooms and a large floodlit carpark. The Club hires out its pitches, Courts and Fubction Rooms (see facilities). The function rooms have been used for birthday, anniversaries, BBQ parties as well as computer, First Aid and Business Courses.
